The current craze for food trucks is an indication of many trends in our culture. However, leaving behind the specific San Franciscan foodie trends, they are also an indication of an emerging informal urbanism: one that is not tied to a specific form but can adapt to changing conditions. This is also highly related to social networking and the effect that this virtual form of interacting outside of the limitations of distance and location can influence the way that events or everyday life can occur within the existing urban framework.
